Biggy Z

Established at the beginning of 2013, Biggy Z is a popular New Orleans themed dive bar located in Bograshov St., at the center of Tel Aviv. It is especially known for its unique “unlimited refill” drinking model, in which guests purchase a bracelet that provides them with all night, unlimited quality alcoholic drinks. Biggy Z has also made itself a name for its bubbly sexy carnival style Bourbon St. atmosphere. Biggy’s design is warm and colorful. It blends the vibe of the Crescent City’s steamy jazz clubs and the lively ambience of the “Mardi Gras” festival celebrated annually on the French Quarter of New Orleans. “Biggy Z” (A paraphrase on New Orleans’s nick name “The Big Easy”) is a fictional trumpet player named Zachariah Johnson, a living musical legend, who arrived to Tel Aviv straight from the Mississippi delta of New Orleans. “Biggy Z’s Jazz Club” in New Orleans has been considered for many years as one of the most important and influential jazz clubs in the world. On the summer of 2005 Hurricane Katrina hit the shores of New Orleans and destroyed the club. After a few years of depression, Biggy experienced enlightenment and decided to move his life to Tel Aviv and open a bar based on the alcoholic, culinary, and musical experience of New Orleans. Biggy Z bar is the first bar in Tel Aviv that attempts to recreate the vibrant and energetic jazz atmosphere of the French Quarter of New Orleans.
